Gato
I was so happy with Simplyfly, I decided to go to the same place to find him a friend. Introducing Gato, a.k.a. El Gato Guapo, a 2005 Thoroughbred, recently retired from racing at Los Alamitos Race Course. After a rather sucessful racing career, Gato has earned his retirement. He will be trained for trail riding and possibly other endeavors. He is already Fly's best buddy and like Fly , he has a very sweet and affectionate personality and is a pleaure to be around.

Obedience: 96 Points!
Congratulations to Marcelo Julio and Calais for earning the SchH A title on May 8th, 2010. Due to business travel, Marcelo has not been able to track enough to prepare for the SchH 1. So, they tried for the SchH A instead, scoring an impressive 96 points in obedience. They scored 82 in protection after Calais decided the Hold and Bark was simply a waste of time and moved right onto the biting phase. :-). Just a little training adjustment there and I am confident she will be rivaling her obedience score in protection.

Fargo vom Adler Stein
Congratulations to Fargo vom Adler Stein and his handler Al Trimarchi on their recent evidence find after a bank robbery in Gardnerville, NV. Fargo vom Adler Stein, POST Certified Evidence Search Dog, was called to the scene of a Bank Robbery in Gardenville NV. An armed subject wearing a ski mask had fled the bank and was chased through a field and apprehended in a residential neighborhood. He was caught without the money, gun, ski mask and was wearing different shoes. Fargo and his handler were called to work the field. Fargo showed interest in an area that the police said they were sure the subject did not go through. Being wise enough to trust the ability of his dog, his handler continued to search the area and Fargo promptly located a back pack containing the money, ski mask, shoes and a Glock hand gun with the serial number filed off. The Sheriff's Office advised that they would not have found the evidence that evening and possibly not even the next day the way it was hidden through a wire fence and in high brush.....not to mention that they didn't think where the dog was looking was the right place . Fargo has been called out on numerous searches by the local Sheriffs and also the FBI. Click HERE to read the newspaper article about Fargo's find.
